Terms of use

1. What Second Hand Listings is

Second Hand Listings is an online classifieds platform where individuals list used PC hardware and talk to each other. We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We are not a party to any sale: we don't own, inspect, verify, store, ship or guarantee items, and we never collect or hold payments. Buyers and sellers agree the price, meet, test the item and pay each other directly.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and sign in with your own Google account.
• Keep your details accurate. You're responsible for everything done from your account.
• One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone.

3. Listing items

• Only list PC hardware you own and are entitled to sell, located in India, priced in rupees.
• Describe it honestly, including faults, and use your own photos of the actual item.
• Each account can create up to 10 listings per calendar month (India time). Deleted listings still count toward that month.
• Mark items as sold once they're sold.

4. What's not allowed

• Stolen, counterfeit, recalled or illegal goods, or anything other than PC hardware.
• Misleading listings, fake prices, duplicates and spam.
• Asking for advance payments, "token amounts", OTPs, passwords or bank details, or any other scam.
• Harassment, hate, threats, or sharing someone else's personal information.
• Scraping the site, automating accounts, or trying to get around our limits or security.

5. Deals between users

Any agreement is only between the buyer and the seller. Check the item and the other person before paying; our safety guide explains how. We can't refund payments or settle disputes about items, but we will act on reports of fraud and cooperate with the police.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to host, display, resize and share it on Second Hand Listings so that the platform can work. You confirm you have the right to post it.

7. Moderation

We may remove listings or messages, limit features, or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, sometimes without notice when people's safety or money is at risk. Anyone can report a listing from its page.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for the items listed, for what users say or do, or for losses arising from deals between users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts in India. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll show a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
